Investex is happy to announce the increase of its lineup of payment options to include UnionPay and JCB. You can now deposit and withdraw funds to and from Investex account using CUP and JCB debit or credit card.
China UnionPay (or CUP) offers cross-border money transfer services, as well as debit, credit and prepaid cards. Although it is the world’s biggest payment card issuer (ahead of VISA and MasterCard), it’s hardly known for those living outside China.
JCB (or Japan Credit Bureau) is the leading domestic issuer and acquirer in Japan, used by more than 90 million cardholders and accepted at 30 million locations globally. Most cardholders originate from APAC, especially Japan, China, South Korea, and Taiwan. Cards are now issued in 19 territories, including EMEA markets such as Germany, Russia, Austria and Spain, with additional countries to follow.
These new methods of funding accounts significantly enhances the capabilities for Chinese and Japanese clients to deposit and withdraw their funds. Thanks to Investex automated withdrawal system and easy-to-use deposits, our customers can now enjoy fast money transfers. Usually it takes just several minutes to fund your account. For more information on depositing, please consult our step-by-step guide.
Both China UnionPay and JCB offer some pretty tight safeguards, when it comes to both users’ payment security, cardholders’ privacy and personal data. Investex doesn’t charge its customers with any commissions for deposits, although the correspondent bank’s commissions may apply.
Investex stepped in to make funding of accounts easier for its clients, and intends to extend a list of options for making deposits to include various local online systems and particularly convenient e-wallets. We are aiming to develop a product that is valuable for you, so your feedback on payment options convenient for you is very important for us.
